Norwell Fall Frenzy dance features costume contest, games and music

PALMERSTON – Norwell District Secondary School hosted a Fall Frenzy dance for students on Oct. 26.

The event featured costume competitions, treats, dancing, and music by DJ Cody.

A group of Grade 12 students in the business leadership class organized the event.

“The dance was very fun and the music was lit,” said a student who attended the dance.

All students interviewed for this article said they had fun and were glad they attended the dance.

The Fall Frenzy Dance was a huge success, with 113 people attending and participating in the costume competition, eating candy and a pumpkin scavenger hunt, organizers state.

The group wanted to include local places students love to support during lunch by asking them to help donate prizes to be won.

For the competitions, they gathered prizes including a large four-topping pizza from Small Town Pizza, five free meals at the school cafeteria, candy and stroopwafels from the Oranje Grove Dutch Shop, and a Subway gift card.
