Norwell District Secondart School club holding coat, clothing drive for local communities
In celebration of the Christmas season, Interact, Norwell District Secondary School’s newest club, will be running a winter coat and clothing drive in the communities of Harriston, Palmerston, Clifford and Drayton.
The coat and clothing drive is a part of the club’s annual community project, and all collected donations will be distributed throughout Minto and Mapleton Township.
This idea was formed by a group of students involved in Interact to benefit children and families in the north Wellington area during the winter season.
Donations will be accepted at Norwell District Secondary School, as well as at businesses throughout the communities. Community members can also drop off their gently-used coats and clothing at the Santa Claus parades in each community.
If all coats and clothing items could be washed before being donated, it would be greatly appreciated.
