Nominations welcome for city, county access awards
There will be awards for people who have helped to ensure that everyone has access to goods and services in Guelph and Wellington County. The organizing committee is seeking nominations.
The awards will honour people who have contributed to breaking down barriers for persons with a disability and individuals who have overcome their personal barriers to achieve or fulfill their goal.
The categories are: community groups, individuals, youth, educators and persons with a disability. The awards will be presented on Nov. 23 by Mayor Karen Farbridge.
