Noise exemption granted
Wellington North councillors have agreed to allow an exemption to its noise control bylaw to allow Joanne and Marty Young of Mount Forest to hold a pig roast the night of June 6.
The owners of the Ayrshire Street property applied for an exemption to noise bylaw from 5pm on June 6 to 1am on June 7.
The exemption allows a small live band to play at the event.
