Nestle Waters helps with school playground

Nestlé Waters Canada announced on Tuesday it has completed the final installment of its $26,250 donation towards the playground renewal project at Aberfoyle Public School.

Over the last three years, the company has matched local donations to the project dollar-for-dollar to help the school achieve its fundraising objective.

The school had previously raised $10,000 towards the $75,000 project, which involved the replacement of the play area, which is now in use.

“We are very thankful to Nestlé Waters Canada for its considerable donation to the replacement of our playground equipment,” said Principal Sue Guest.

“Having this equipment allows us to complement our efforts to help our students acquire knowledge and skills, develop healthy self-esteem and maintain a positive attitude with daily physical exercise and regular social activity.”

“Nestlé Waters Canada is proud to be associated with the local elementary school in its community,” said Gail Cosman, president of Nestlé Waters Canada.
