NeighbourWoods planting in The Food Forest

Food forest Off to the left of the Fergus sportsplex, behind the tennis courts, is a new site called The Food Forest. On May 28 about 15 members of the NeighbourWoods group gathered to plant around 100 more herbs and trees at the site.  There will be public access to the garden so anyone can get their herbs and flowers free of charge when they are ready for harvesting. Ellen Woodley, left, and Matthew Shanks were among those planting on May 28. Most of the plants are native to the area.
