Movie theme at Hillsburgh Family Fun Day
HILLSBURGH - People are invited to dress up as their favourite movie character when the Spirit of the Hills Family Fun Day shuts down Trafalgar Road for a community celebration.
The annual event in downtown Hillsburgh will be held on Aug. 17, 10am to 2pm, with the winner of a costume contest to be announced at 11:30am.
There will be classic cars to view in the show ‘n’ shine area, a heritage display and musical entertainment.
Kids can enjoy a bouncy castle, special games and Pockets the clown, and the Lions Club will be serving up food.
A variety of vendors will also be on hand, along with displays by community groups, and participants can bid on items at the silent auction.
