Mount Forest woman wins guild's 'Hunter’s Star' quilt
Mary Fowler, of Mount Forest, is the winner of the Hunter’s Star quilt made by the Four Corners Quilters’ Guild. Guild president Neil Cloes presented it to her on Feb. 13. The quilt was a pandemic project of guild members, who made enough quilt squares for two quilts. The first was donated to the New Hamburg Mennonite Relief sale last May and raised $850 in the auction. This quilt is valued at $500. The Four Corners Quilters’ Guild meets every second Tuesday from September to June. Winter meetings are held on Zoom. New members are welcome. Visit the guild’s Facebook page for more information.
