Mount Forest woman dies in two-vehicle crash
WELLINGTON NORTH – A Mount Forest woman is dead following a two-vehicle crash here on Monday afternoon.
Wellington County OPP officials say emergency crews responded to the scene, on Highway 6, south of Mount Forest, on Feb. 6 at about 1pm.
Police say two SUVs had collided and that both drivers had serious injuries.
"A 48-year-old female from Mount Forest was transported to a local hospital but was pronounced deceased," police stated in a press release.
"A 46-year-old male from Mount Forest was airlifted to a trauma centre with life threatening injuries."
