Mount Forest teen dead, two others injured following single-vehicle crash
MAPLETON – A Mount Forest teenager is dead and two other teens are seriously injured following a single-vehicle crash here on Sunday night.
Emergency crews were called to the scene, on Wellington Road 12 in Mapleton Township, on March 19 at about 11:50pm.
Wellington County OPP officials say a black sedan left the road, injuring three occupants.
All three were transported to a local hospital.
"A 17-year-old driver from Mount Forest was pronounced deceased," police stated in a press release.
"A 15-year-old passenger from Mount Forest, and 15-year-old passenger from Southgate, were both air-lifted to a trauma centre with serious injuries."
