Mount Forest resident dead after single-vehicle crash
Vehicle left roadway, entered ditch in fatal July 4 crash: police
WELLINGTON NORTH - A 53-year-old Mount Forest resident is dead following a single-vehicle crash on Saturday.
Around 6pm on July 4, emergency services responded to Highway 6, between sideroads 3 and 4, south of Mount Forest and north of Riverstown.
"It was determined that the vehicle left the roadway and went into the ditch," Wellington OPP stated in a news release.
The driver, who police did not identify in the release, was pronounced dead on scene.
A portion of Highway 6 was closed as police investigated the crash.
No additional information was provided.
