Mount Forest man charged after donation box stolen
MOUNT FOREST – A local man has been charged with theft after a charity donation box was stolen from a business last week.
Wellington County OPP officials say someone stole the box from a checkout counter at the Mount Forest business on Feb. 3 at about 8:45am.
Police did not provide the name of the business or the beneficiary of the charity box.
On Feb. 8 the OPP announced that Stephen Daniel Wilson, 33, of Mount Forest, was charged with theft under $5,000.
He is to appear in Guelph court on March 29.
