Tracy Engel started making gnomes during the fall of 2024, and founded Tracy’s Gnome Shop shortly thereafter. Engel, along with husband Dan and three-week-old daughter Blakely, showcased her large collection of colourful gnomes, including everything from Easter and birthday gnomes to camouflaged gnomes. MOUNT FOREST – The Mount Forest Lions Club hosted a well attended Spring Craft Market at the Mount Forest District Sportsplex on April 12.

Originally held by the now-defunct Mount Forest Agricultural Society, the event was recently taken over by the Lions.

A large number of vendors were on hand to tempt attendees with everything from art to crochet, quilts, soap, candles, indoor and outdoor decor items, wood and metal creations, health and wellness products and much more.

Admission was by donation, with all proceeds going towards the many community projects that are sponsored by the club.
