Motorcyclist dead following three-vehicle crash
GUELPH/ERAMOSA – The driver of a motorcycle is dead following a serious three-vehicle crash southeast of Rockwood late on Friday night.
Wellington County OPP officials say emergency crews responded to the scene, on Highway 7 just west of Wellington Road 32, on Sept. 30 at about 11:30pm.
Police say two passenger vehicles and a motorcycle were involved in the collision.
"The driver of the motorcycle was transported to a local hospital where they were pronounced deceased," police stated in a press release.
Police later identified the motorcyclist as Vernon Russell Ward, 54, of Guelph.
No one else involved in the collision was injured.
