Motorcyclist airlifted to hospital after collision in Mapleton
MAPLETON – The driver of a motorcycle was transported to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries following a two-vehicle collision here on Sunday.
Wellington County OPP officials say emergency crews responded to a motorcycle-SUV collision at the intersection of Wellington Roads 8 and 10, northeast of Moorefield, on Oct. 30 at about 4pm.
"The driver of the motorcycle was transported to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries," police stated in a press release.
"No one else involved in the collision was seriously injured."
