More candidates emerge in Minto
Two more incumbent Minto council members have filed nomination papers to run for re-election on the Oct. 27 municipal ballot.
Councillors Dave Turton and Ron Faulkner will be running for council positions, joining councillor Mary Lou Colwell, who has also filed her nomination papers.
Incumbent Mayor George Bridge has also confirmed he will seek re-election.
Incumbent Wellington County councillor Mark MacKenzie will face a challenge from Steve Hardie to retain his seat as county councillor for Ward 1.
