Minto Youth Action Council to host Winter Carnival
Winter Carnival planned – The Minto Youth Action Council (MYAC) is preparing to host a free Winter Carnival at the Palmerston Lions Basketball Court on Jan. 23. The event, for local youth aged 12 to 26, will begin at 5:30pm with outdoor mini games, such as bean bag target toss, and end with a large game of capture the flag. MYAC members Hattie Bentley and Brady Dineen worked on posters for the event at a recent meeting.
