Minto BMX biker recognized
MINTO - Councillors were on a roll recently as they recognized the achievements of Chris Hardie for his recent success at the provincial BMX championships in Port Elgin last month.
Hardie finished in first place in the 15-and-under category at the event that was held Sept. 12 to 14.
Mayor David Anderson offered his congratulations and said, “We wish the best on your continued success.”
He added there are rumours of BMX events starting up closer by.
Deputy-mayor Judy Dirksen said that “winning a provincial BMX event is pretty incredible.”
