The Centre Wellington Fusion Minor Atom AA team travelled to Flamborough for its first tri-county playoff game and what a game it was.

Team officials said The Fusion played with heart, grit and determination. The game was a nail biter right to the last second of the game.

Eddie McDonald got a nice goal in the first to give the Fusion the early lead. Unfortunately, Flamborough answered back in the second. Zander Pereira ripped the second goal in for the Fusion to regain the lead.

With only 58 seconds remaining in the game, Flamborough squeaked a goal past net minder Owen Bright who played sensational for the Fusion.

With 9.7 seconds left in the game, Liam McCracken found the back of the Flamborough net to regain the lead.

Just when you thought it was over, Flamborough skated down the ice and was ready to take the shot when Brinley Wilson dove in front of the puck to stop the scoring chance. Fusion won 3-2.
