Masters and Seniors Bonspiel held in Mount Forest March 2

MOUNT FOREST – The annual Masters and Seniors Bonspiel returned to the Mount Forest Curling Club following a complete ice plant failure and replacement in 2023.

The local curling club hosted 16 teams on March 2. 

Dave Tilker’s team from the Mount Forest Curling Club won the Seniors championship, while Ken Pike’s team from the Listowel Curling Club took the Masters title.

Senior champs – Champions of the Seniors division, for age 50-plus at the 2024 Seniors and Masters Bonspiel at the Mount Forest Curling on March 2 were Dave Tilker’s team from the Mount Forest Club. The team consists of skip Dave Tilker, vice Dave Sockett, second Bill Patton and lead Rae Collins.

“Thanks goes out to the sponsors that so freely offer up their support and prizes year after year,” Mount Forest Curling Club officials state.

Club officials also thanked and caterer Steve Chambers of A+ Catering “for providing an excellent meal.
