Marijuana, probation charges

On Oct. 14 at about 10:13pm, Wellington County OPP officers were patrolling here when they observed a 2000 Chevrolet involved in a traffic violation at St. Andrew Street East and Scotland Street.

Police say a traffic stop was initiated and during the investigation, suspected marijuana was located. Police say the male driver was arrested and it was also discovered that a probation order was not being followed.

Naymatullah Sayfi, 19, of Guelph, was charged with possession of marijuana under 30 grams and breach of probation.  He is to appear in Guelph court on Nov. 28.
