Man seriously injured
On Aug. 14 at about 10:40am emergency crews were called to an accident at a home under construction on Concession 1 here.
Police say a 24-year-old sub-contractor from Hamilton was injured “when a slab of quartz that was being installed fell on him.” He was transported to a Cambridge hospital with serious injuries.
The Ministry of Labour was notified and was to attend the scene.
