Man intentionally coughs in face of city employee

GUELPH – Police here are looking for help to identify the man who coughed in the face of a City of Guelph employee earlier this week.

On June 28 at about 2pm, the man bypassed a line of patrons at the City Hall splash pad, approached the employee conducting COVID-19 screening duties and “coughed deliberately in the face of the employee,” police say.

The suspect is described as six feet tall with a tanned/sunburned complexion, short blond hair in a brush cut style, and wearing orange and white short sleeved polo style shirt and tan or grey shorts.
