Man committed ‘indecent act’ near day care centre

GUELPH – The Guelph Police Service is investigating after reports of a male committing an indecent act near a day care centre.

Staff of the day care in the northern part of the city called police approximately 10:40am on May 3.

“They had seen a male who appeared to be watching children playing outside. He put his hand down his pants and appeared to be masturbating before leaving the area,” police stated in a press release.

Police described the suspect as a white male with dark medium-length hair and a beard, and wearing a white and purple striped jacket, grey hooded sweater, blue pants with silver bottoms and dark sunglasses.
