Man charged with dangerous, impaired driving in crash that claimed life of Fergus man
CENTRE WELLINGTON – A man has been charged with dangerous driving and impaired driving in a crash two weeks ago that claimed the life of Dave Genereaux of Fergus.
Genereaux, father of a two-month-old boy, was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision on Highway 6.
He was heading south in a beige Ford SUV when his vehicle collided with a northbound black Dodge Ram pickup south of Fergus.

On Jan. 11 police announced charges have been laid in the crash.
Micheal David Shular, 30, of Tara, near Owen Sound, was charged with impaired driving causing death, dangerous driving causing death, obstructing a peace officer, possession of a Schedule I substance (fentanyl) and two counts of driving while suspended.
He was held for a bail hearing.
