Man arrested after homeowner finds someone hiding in bushes
ERIN - Police have charged a Parry Sound man after a resident here found someone hiding in the bushes outside her home.
On Dec. 31 at about 9:35pm Wellington County OPP officers responded to a suspicious person call at a residence on the 5th Line in Erin.
Police say the homeowner reported that a red vehicle was parked in her laneway and someone was hiding in the bushes near her house.
Officers arrived to find a stolen vehicle and arrested the person hiding on the property.
David Wayne Lefler, 42, of Parry Sound, was charged with trespass at night and possession of property obtained by crime.
He is to appear in Guelph court on Jan. 28.
