Lunch with Love continues, but closes fundraising page
ELORA - When the Lunch with Love idea was hatched, the group had four goals: to help keep a local business alive; to give the Centre Wellington community an outlet for the gratitude they were feeling for essential workers; to give the workers the knowledge that they were seen and appreciated for what they were doing daily; and finally, to give students an opportunity for real life learning.
As Lunch with Love heads into its fourth week, organizers have closed the fundraising page, but are still seeking suggestions about which essential workers to honour.
Lunches will continue to be made by Paula Allen at the Elora Cafe. Organizers send out a huge thank you to all those who donated and offered words of support.
