Long lineups at local advance polls
Reports of a lack of interest in the coming federal elections might be off - if turnouts at the advance polls across Wellington are any indication.
Long lines were the sign of the times at advance polling stations in Fergus, Mount Forest, Acton and Marden.
The turnout would seem to indicate the voting public does not wish to lose an opportunity to have its voice heard to determine the fate of the next government of Canada.
