WELLINGTON NORTH – Letterbreen United Church, located on Highway 6 north of Mount Forest, is marking its 145th anniversary on Sept. 18.
Over the years Letterbreen United has been an important part of the community with worship, weddings, and funerals. Many social gatherings have also been hosted by the congregation at the church.
A millennium time capsule packed in 2000 by Sunday school members, who are now adults, will be opened on the Sunday.
A 9:30am church service will be followed by a Sunday school reunion taking place from 10:30am to noontime.
All are welcome to attend the special celebration and Sunday worship.
