Learn about dementia
The Family Council of Wellington Terrace invites the public to an information session on “Understanding Dementia” on June 3 from 1:30 to 3:30pm.
Speakers include Mary Lou Bolen, registered nurse and dementia lead at Wellington Terrace, and Ray Wiseman, family member, author and broadcaster.
Bolen will provide an understanding of the stages of dementia and Wiseman will offer a firsthand perspective of living with a partner who suffers from dementia.
Members of the public are invited to the session, which will include time for information sharing as well as an opportunity for questions. Refreshments will be served.
