Kathryn Ironmonger appointed acting CAO
Councillors here recently endorsed Kathryn Ironmonger’s appointment as acting CAO for the town.
The appointment came at the July 3 council meeting.
The motion read that Ironmonger be appointed in the role, with Sharon Marshall acting as the designate in Ironmonger’s absence.
Ironmonger is currently the town clerk, while Marshall is the director of finance.
Mayor Lou Maieron thanked the pair for taking on the additional responsibilities.
“You have our condolences,” quipped councillor John Brennan.
