Jewelry stolen in midday residential break-in

On April 17 at approximately 12:37pm Wellington County OPP received report of a break-in at a residence on Braeside Road in Fergus.

Police say sometime between 10:40am and 12:30pm suspect(s) pried open a window and gained access to the residence while the home owners were out for a few hours.

A quantity of jewelry was taken, including men’s and women’s rings and watches.
