Interim executive director named

Tania Framst has accepted the position of interim executive director of the Volunteer Centre of Guelph-Wellington.

On secondment from the University of Guelph, Framst has worked as executive assistant to the president and vice president. In addition she has coordinated projects and events including the inaugural World Record Event to Fight Hunger.

Framst studied human nutrition and consumer studies at Saint Francis Xavier University and previously worked as the unit manager of the Canadian Cancer Society Wellington Unit and as managing director of the Advanced Foods and Materials Network.

The Volunteer Centre is currently undergoing a review process and the board and staff of the Volunteer Centre welcome Framst.
