Influenza A outbreak at Groves now over
Groves Memorial Community Hospital (GMCH), working in conjunction with Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health Department, has declared the Influenza A on its Complex Continuing Care (CCC)/Surgical Unit over.
Visitor restrictions for the CCC/Surgical Unit are lifted.
Groves Hospital staff would like to remind visitors, if you have are not feeling well do not visit the hospital patients. You must be symptom free of illness, for 48 hours, before visiting a hospital patient. Anyone visiting the hospital should wash and sanitize their hands regularly before, during and after a visit. These precautions will help reduce the chance of passing an infection to seriously ill patients.
