Hundreds attend Elora Antique and Vintage Show

Show regulars – Paula Malmstrom and her son Michael Malmstorm come to the Elora antique show every year from St. Catharines, selling antiques from their store on Lake Ontario. Paula says the turnout for the Elora show has always been great, except for in 2018 when there was a big winter storm – a significant difference from the balmy high of 27 in Elora on April 15.

Antique hobbiest – Jeff Fader from Sarnia chuckled when he said for him, selling antiques is just a “part-time hobby, or addiction, whatever you want to call it.”

Ken and Holly Newland brought a range of antiques and collectables from their Bloomfield store A Tick in Tyme. Ken called the turnout on Saturday “spectacular.” Photo by Robin George
