Hospice Wellington introduces Retro Royale

WELLINGTON COUNTY – Hospice Wellington is planning to transport guests “to a time where pop culture like totally exploded” – a time of Cabbage Patch Kids, MTV, Gremlins and Goonies.

On Feb. 15, the first 80s Retro Royale will be held at the Delta by Marriott (500 Stone Road West in Guelph).

The event will raise funds for Hospice Wellington’s end-of-life support services and programming and tickets are $120 each, or a table of 10 guests for $1,000.

The fundraiser is sponsored by Andra Arnold and Associates.

There will be 80s treats, a wine wall, retro candy, music, live and silent auction items, golden ticket draw, mystery envelopes, and a costume contest.

Come out in your best 80s styles and fashions – headbands, Vuarnet sweaters, parachute pants, keyboard ties, side ponies, and anything and everything neon.

For more information or to book tickets visit hospicewellington.org/our-events.

Hospice Wellington is also holding an Early Bird Draw for a $500 gift card to Elora Mill Resort and Spa.

To be part of the draw, purchase tickets, before midnight on New Years Eve.
