Horse Day at the Erin Fairgrounds

ERIN – Horse Day Erin was a “big success,” organizers state. More than 2,500 visitors came to the Erin Fairgrounds with over 50 horses. The day showcased horses, equine businesses, horse breeding demonstrations, and clinics.  The Western Ontario Pony Club welcomed over 30 horses and riders for Prince Philip Games. Local horsewoman and clincian Karen Dallimore hosted a cowboy obstacle clinic, Lesly Sowden raced mini chuckwagons, and the Ontario mounted unit performed on the track. The Erin Agricultural Society’s horse heritage committee receieved $500.
