Holiday event takes over Palmerston Lions Heritage Park
Light up the park – All Aboard Palmerston and the Palmerston Lions Club brought some holiday magic to Palmerston Lions Heritage Park on the evening of Nov. 18. Hot drinks were served to a background of Christmas tunes played by a DJ before a fireworks show. Children, including Evvy, 8, and Erica, 8, above right, visited with Santa Claus at the Palmerston Railway Heritage Museum, got their hands on balloon animals and rode on a horse-drawn wagon. Donations were also accepted for the Children’s Foundation of Guelph and Wellington and the Palmerston Food Bank. Photos by Jordan Snobelen
