Hamilton man faces illegal cannabis charges
GUELPH – A Hamilton man faces several charges related to illegal cannabis following a routine RIDE stop here last week.
On June 21 at about 1:15am, Wellington County OPP officers were conducting a RIDE program on Victoria Road North here.
Police say officers spoke to the male driver of a grey SUV.
Paul James Arthur Chiarelli, 30, of Hamilton, was charged with possession of cannabis for the purpose of selling, possession for the purpose of distributing, possession with the intent to distribute illicit cannabis and possession of a Schedule III substance
He is to appear in Guelph court at a later date.
