Halloween Haunt happening in Harriston

HARRISTON – Downtown Harriston will soon be haunted with spooky games, ‘fang-tastic’ food trucks, and tricks and treats for all ages at various businesses.

Harriston Rising is hosting its annual Halloween Haunt and invites everyone to put on their best costume and join the monster mash on Oct. 28 from 6pm to 8pm.

Children can travel throughout downtown Harriston and stop at different stations to collect a treat and play games. Families are encouraged to grab dinner at one of the food trucks and adults are welcome to enjoy drinks on the patio of the Café at the Old Post.

In addition to outdoor activities, all are welcome to stop inside the various downtown buildings that will be haunted for the festivities this year, including the Old Post and the Harriston Town Hall Theatre.

Pre-registration is required and the deadline to sign up is Oct. 21 on harristonrising.ca. Participants must check-in at Tannery Park on the day of the event at their assigned time to pick-up their free Harriston Rising bag for collecting treats throughout the evening.
