U-14AA team

The Sodrox Chemicals Ltd. U-14AA team travelled to Nepean Nov. 16 to 17 for the 25th Annual Nepean Ringette Tournament.

Team officials say the girls played well but finished with a record of one win and three losses. They add that in the third game the team outplayed Ottawa, outshooting them 28-14, but the Guelph girls "just couldn't find the back of the net."

The game results were as follows: Guelph 4, Gloucester 2; West Ottawa 6, Guelph 2; Ottawa 3, Guelph 1; and Manitoba 3, Guelph 2.

Appearing on the scoresheet for Guelph over the four games were: Mel Lanteigne (2 goals and 2 assists), Kiara Allcock (1 goal and 2 assists), Sid Claerbout (3 assists), Maddie Seabrooke (2 goals), Christina Nadalin (1 goal and 1 assist), Melissa Pierce (1 goal and 1 assist), Maddie Jarvis (1 goal), Kirtin Cadera (1 goal) and Kim Srigley (1 assist).

Team officials say goaltenders Janna Griffioen and Jessica Hill, who split the goaltending, were "outstanding." They added Daniela Faienza was "a rock" on defence.

U-10 Guelph Predators

The McNeil U-10 Predators recently lost 8-4 against the Waterloo Wildfire team.

Scoring for Guelph were Abby Auger (3 goals), Jessica Robinson (1 goal), Jessica Hood (1 assist) and Kaitlyn Turcotte (1 assist).
