Guelph man wins $50,000 in OLG Instant Bingo Doubler

Big winner – Leon Stewart of Guelph won a $50,000 prize with OLG’s Instant Bingo Doubler. Stewart, a 67-year-old father and grandfather, said he’s a weekly lottery player and loves playing instant games to unwind and relax.

“I woke up with a good spirit one day, so I decided to buy a ticket,” he shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings.

“I was playing my ticket at the coffee shop and needed the number 34. When I revealed 34, I was surprised. Thirty-four is now my favourite number!”

Stewart plans to put some of this money aside for his grandchildren and his brother and sister.

“I’m still processing the shock – I am very thankful for this blessing. I’m filled with gratitude,” he said. The winning ticket was purchased at Fill Store Convenience on Victoria Road in Guelph.
