Guelph man charged with sexual assault in incidents at group home
ERIN - A Guelph man is charged with sexual assault following two alleged incidents involving an employee at a group home here.
Wellington County OPP officials say that on Feb. 3, a female employee at the home, located on the 1st Line in Erin, told police she was sexually assaulted on two separate occasions by a co-worker in the fall of 2019.
Robert Doug Root, 51, of Guelph, was charged with two counts of sexual assault and is to appear in Guelph court on March 13.
