Guelph-Eramosa council costs ratepayers $79,566 in 2008
Guelph-Eramosa council was paid a total of $79,566 in remuneration and expenses in 2008.
Mayor Chris White was paid a total of $30,265 - including $14,455 in salary, $10,465 in additional meetings (not council) and $5,345 in expenses.
Councillor John Scott’s total was $14,962 - $9,563 in salary, $3,525 for meetings and $1,874 in expenses.
Councillor Reta Moyer was paid $13,060, including $9,363 in salary, $750 for meetings and $2,947 in expenses.
Councillor Doug Breen was paid $13,028, with $9,563 in regular pay, $2,295 for meetings and $540 in expenses.
Councillor Roger Knapp received $9,987 - $8,763 in pay, $75 for attending extra meetings and $1,149 in expenses.
The lower remuneration for Moyer and Knapp are the result of absences in the period from Nov. 1, 2007 to Oct. 31, 2008.
