Groves volunteers name new officers

At the Groves Hospital Volunteer Association annual general meeting on Oct. 7, the following were elected:

- Co presidents, Norma Seibert and Rob Gilbert;

- corporate secretary Debbie Roberts,

- treasurer, Andrew North

-director of fundraising, Carol Kirby;

- director of Risk Manage­ment, Toni Crowther;

- director of strategic plan­ning, Angie Reynolds;

- director of communi­cations, Lorraine Gilbert;

- directors at large, Helen Clark, Bill O’Malley, and Marie Woronchuk.

Forty-nine volunteers were recognized with long service pins and a Certificate of Appreciation from MPP Ted Arnott.

Twenty volunteers received three year pins, twelve received five year pins, nine got the 10 year pin, seven received a 15 year pin and one, Doris Bowman, got a 25 year pin.

The total volunteer years has reached 340.
