On Feb. 7, Germania Mutual Insurance provided its commitment of $25,000 to the “Always Here for You Campaign” of North Wellington Health Care.
Representing Germania was president and CEO Dan Hill, and board member Wayne Lytle of Mount Forest.
“I am very pleased that our board of directors chose to support this worthwhile project in a big way,” Hill said. “We acknowledge this donation is given on behalf of our 9,000 policyholders. Germania is committed to supporting local health care and we hope this donation gives a huge jump start to the campaign.”
Lytle agreed, stating, “I can’t think of a better way to help individuals, many of whom are Germania policy holders, in the Mount Forest area so they can continue to receive exemplary health care locally.”
Jane Ford, who accepted the gift on behalf of The Mount Forest Louise Marshall Hospital (LMH) Foundation, said, “Germania has supported Louise Marshall Hospital and other area hospitals for many years during the CKNX Health Care Heroes Radiothon.
“This commitment … demonstrates a genuine concern for others in all life circumstances, and especially when hospital care is needed.”
