Garden workshop at Arboretum

There are many new insights that make a vege­table garden more productive and easier to manage.

During a full-day workshop (9am to 4pm) on March 27, participants will explore how digging, composting, and mul­ch­ing practices contribute to healthy soil as the basis for heal­thy plants and food.

Participants will learn seed buying and planting schedules through to post harvest clean-up, including the reduction of even the organic or safe pest control products.

Guest instructor Denise Jupp will lead the workshop at The Arboretum. The registra­tion fee is $75 and the registra­tion deadline is March 12.
