Guelph-Eramosa officials have taken steps to ensure public works projects stay on track in the absence of manager Ken Gagnon, who is off indefinitely with personal health issues.

Council recently passed a resolution naming parks and recreation manager Robin Milne the “acting manager of public works until a temporary replacement can be found.”

The township has also hired R.J. Burnside and Associates Ltd. “to provide technical engineering expertise ... on a temporary basis.”

Both steps are to be reviewed in three months by CAO Janice Sheppard.
