PENNY O’DONNELL

Penny O’Donnell

Penny O’Donnell has created spectacular gardens surrounding her home that include many water stations, seating areas and artwork created by her husband John Little.

The beautiful array of plants in various sections on the property along with the sound of running water create a peaceful and serene setting.

GAIL AND MAC BROWN

Gail and Mac Brown

Gail and Mac Brown on Gartshore Street are passionate about gardening and have created a colourful garden including a section that acts as a beautiful and pleasing property line with their neighbour.

CATHY GRANT AND JOHN HOFFMANN

Cathy Grant, John Hoffmann

Cathy Grant and John Hoffmann on Tom Street have taken a hill at the side of their property and created a magnificent garden using the entire hill to set off their property.

They lost most of the garden from a fallen tree in a storm a few years ago, but their passion and gallant efforts have brought it back to life.

PATTY SEARLE-JOHNSTON AT BARB REED’S GARDEN

Barb Reed’s garden

Patty Searle-Johnston of the Grand Garden Committee is pictured here in front of one of the gardens designed by Barb Reed on Forfar Street East.

Reed’s entire house is surrounded with an explosion of colour from flowers that bloom all summer long.

Reed started her gardens 10 years ago and claims it takes little effort to maintain today.
