BRUCEDALE - Guelph-Eramosa council has voted to give support in principle for a plan to expand the Flash Freight Systems warehouse facility at 5894 Eighth Line E. in Ariss.

Council has delegated authority for final approval of the site plan to CAO Ian Roger, pended confirmation of minor details.

Meagan Ferris, a senior planner at Wellington County, reported to council that the 22,343 square foot addition, including a new shipping-receiving area with loading docks, will be used for storage of agricultural products such as grains.

There is no change in use for the land, and there have been no substantial concerns from staff, consultants or commenting agencies.
